GD Vape Nerds. Not so long ago, 10K was the absolute limit for disposables. That ceiling was quickly smashed, however, as 30K, 40K, and now 100K disposables entered the fray.
Case in point: iJOY's latest 100k model is part disposable, part pod kit.
You get a refillable and replaceable pod, a rechargeable battery, a display screen, adjustable airflow, and Normal/Boost power modes.
That's a lot more than most devices at this end of the market are offering.
What it does well
Flavor is the headline. It's bold, with consistent taste delivery thanks to its dual mesh coil design doing a good job.
The refillable pod setup also means less waste and more longevity than a fixed disposable. If you want a high-capacity device that gives you actual control over your vape, this is the direction you want to be heading.
I think, for the most part, this is the general way the entire disposable market is moving anyway.
The honest caveat
Chain-vaping this thing is a bad idea.
iJOY's own documentation flags burnt taste as a risk if you don't give it time to wick. Boost mode can also flatten subtler flavor notes.
Is it for you?
If you like vaping on easy mode with fewer replacements, more control than a standard disposable, and don't mind a bit of wicking discipline, I'd definitely give this one a look.
I'm really enjoying my test unit so far. I'll be adding a full-fat review to the site next week sometime. But it's definitely in the A+ category, that's for sure.
