PAX is one of the most well known and most-used brands in the vaporizer space. I've owned all of them too – from the OG Pax right up to the PAX Four (which we'll be talking about today).

Like Apple with its iPhone, PAX doesn't like to rock the boat. The PAX 2 looks like the PAX 3, and both were very similar looking to the OG Pax.

Boring? Yes. But they sold like hotcakes. Familiarity is a massive driver for brand attachment. Just look at what McDonald's and Starbucks do with their stores.

But this year PAX switched gears; it launched the new "standard" PAX Four, par for the course, but alongside it came something completely different.
